Spammer shines light on Rufus Wainwright: I moved beyond this gate. Every day I get up and look during that Forbes list on that richest people on America. If I'm not there Or that all that pains that Rufus Wainwright have so humbly taken to verify me notions have only wasted me time.. . A morning at the opera -

REPORT: Spam | Unoriginal
It felt strange going to the opera before having a good, solid meal, or even taking a shower. Still, last Saturday morning I hauled myself up, out and onto a bus just after 8, heading toward downtown Vancouver in search of the Scotiabank Theater. The occasion was 'The Enchanted Island,' the Baroque ...dnwrites.wordpress.com

Zilbermanoy: Okay, so we have two non-emotional stories, and lots of investigating to be done.

ZOHREH: Basic isn't what it used to be anymore sadly.
It is all about helping them make it through not instead of testing them to see if they got mental strength to be a good soldier.
The system failed the poor guy.

ASAMOAH PATRICK: I served 22 years in the military and unfortunately I've seen hazing incidents throughout my career. The vast majority of hazing incidents are a form of peer justice when one individuals incompetence or stu pid ity harms the unit, or is serious enough that one couldn't trust the individual to pull their load when you had to count on them. It stands to reason that men and women in a war zone, under intense pressure, would ratchet up the hazing in an attempt to correct the deficiency and better protect the unit.

Does this make it right? No, but unless you've been in a position where your life truly depended upon another person performing their duties appropriately then I doubt you will understand.

I'm not condoning the hazing incident, and while I'm certain many libtards will disagree as they sit in their comfortable office or cubicle browsing the internet relieving the stress of their tough 8 hour workday, but I do understand there is a valid place for it, and I say valid because there is no other means to force someone to "man up" in a war time situation. The military spends a tremendous amount of money training someone that has made it as far as this soldier and the cost of replacing him at this point is difficult to imagine for most.

However, if this young soldier was having such a difficult time and either didn't have the ability to perform their duties or was being hazed for reasons other than stated above then I cannot understand why he didn't use his chain of command to address the issue. However if he did make it known to a senior enlisted or officer and the issue wasn't resolved then those individuals should be confined and held accountable for the loss of this young man.

Although appearances can be deceiving, the picture of this young soldier definitely shows the pride in which he wore his uniform, and I feel very comfortable that before this soldier was sent to war he was confident and I would bet capable which makes me suspicious of his superiors...

If I can say one thing about the military, it would be that it is a very
disciplined organization, service records are well kept and there will
either be a history of inferior performance with the associated
disciplinary actions, or the young man's record will show that he was a
soldier worthy of serving this country which would point the finger
at his unit and if that were the case then the heavy hand of justice
should crush those responsible.

Until we find out what happened overseas we can't judge either side, if we still live in America that is.

Virwaypaw: Go figure. Army Soldier. Speaks Volumes. Why didn't he commit suicide in Basic when the Drill Instructors were teasing him? Never would have made it in the Corps. He would have killed himself in receiving. Sorry, but thats how Charles Darwins theory works

Alexesi: Here is something that is NOT in this article but is easy to find via Google, especially in the early articles dating back in Oct.
The family and their spokespeople insisted it was NOT suicide but Murder due to the fact that as far as their last contact went. Chen said everything was fine and asked for a care package to be sent.
The racial aspect stems from Fort Benning not from the Soldiers at Palace.
They are intertwining two separate things, that neither had to do with one another.

Lets look at something a bit off but I think relevent....right now there is the college student from VA missing in NYC.
His father insists he needs to be found and foul play is involved.......however, other family members and friends say he had tried to commit suicide at least 3 times.
So who knows what happened, but as a parent, his father is not willing to look at that as a possible outcome.
